Features:

1. When doing camshaft or cam phaser work, push this tool down and rock it as far as it will go, then pull up a bit (the chain will go up with the tool). So you have extra wiggle room to remove the phaser.

2. End wedges prevent timing chain damage. The rod makes the wedge deep enough. Use this timing chain tool, it makes it easy to replace camshafts or cam phasers on your vehicle without losing chain tension and removing the timing cover.

3. These permanent repair kits change the phaser to a solid hub design and install new tuning in the vehicle computer to get it out of “limp” mode and back to normal operation. The simple design requires no special tools, which makes it easier to save your time.

4. The locking device is precision machined and can be better installed in one part. The locking device should be installed in the space with the tightest fit. Push the locking block all the way down into the phaser, then end the noise by passing the entire issue.
